A Mother’s Perspective — Capturing the Little Moments
Last weekend, I took my kids to a nearby park on a sunny afternoon.
We didn’t have any special plans — just a scooter ride, some fresh air, and my camera in hand.
The kids zipped around on their scooters, laughing and calling out to each other as they explored every corner of the park.
I followed quietly with my camera, capturing those fleeting, everyday moments that seem so small — but feel so big in our hearts.
Since becoming a mum, photography has taken on a deeper meaning for me.
It’s no longer just about snapping cute pictures — it’s about preserving the feelings, the sounds, and the stories behind them.
Photos are little time capsules, letting us hold on to a moment that would otherwise pass us by.
Our kids change so fast.
One day they’re obsessed with a toy, the next they’ve moved on.
They outgrow their clothes, their shoes, and even the way they say certain words.
That’s why I treasure these moments so deeply.
Because in the blink of an eye, they’re gone — but in a photo, they live on forever.
📽 I also made a short reel from that day — scroll down to watch it.
If you’re a parent reading this, I hope it inspires you to pause and document the beauty in your ordinary days too.
It doesn’t have to be perfect or posed.
Just real. Just yours. That’s what makes it beautiful.
